Support My Campaign
There are two really important ways to support my campaign! Volunteer on my team, or donate to my campaign fund.
Volunteer
Between now and election time (Saturday 16 March 2024), I’d love help on my campaign team, and there are lots of ways to help!
- Handing out how to vote cards on election day and/or pre poll
- Delivering flyers to mailboxes in your area
- Putting up corflutes and posters
- Offering any specialist skills in logistics, media, campaign management, printing, etc!
Please use my contact form to let me know your availability and skills 🙂
Donate
My campaign is self-funded, but I would love additional support from friends and local businesses. Please note there are strict regulations around donations (see below). If you would like to make a donation please contact me and we will discuss the correct process.
Please note I am not receiving any donations from the ALP or any unions.
Important notice regarding gifts or loans received
As a participant in a Queensland local government election, I am required to give a disclosure return to the Electoral Commission of Queensland (ECQ) if I receive a gift or loan valued at $500 or more.
I am required to give these returns within 7 business days, or within 24 hours if I receive the gift/loan within 7 business days before election day.
These returns are available for public viewing on the ECQ’s website, and will include all relevant details about the gift, including (but not limited to) the donor’s name and address. This is required by the Local Government Electoral Act 2011.
Please visit www.ecq.qld.gov.au if you require further information about my obligations as an electoral participant.
